Refugee Workers Cultural Association was established in 1991 through the needs identified from the Turkish and the Kurdish speaking communities living in London.

Since the date of establishment RWCA has been providing much needed services to bridge the gap between the local mainstream service providers and the local Turkish and Kurdish speaking communities. The barriers faced by the community are lack of inclusion, primarily due to language and culture. These are problems that the community face every day. The aim of (RWCA) is to provide a support service to the Turkish and the Kurdish community.

Objectives of the organisation are to provide;

Employment training programmes, translating and interpreting services, health awereness sessions, conferances, cultural activities, out-going Trips, community events, parenting support, sports activities, youth activities, school support classes covering GCSE maths, physics, Turkish and stats classes.

Refugee Workers Cultural Association is well known and respectable organisation in London amongst both the Turkish and Kurdish speaking communities but also amongst all other Turkish and Kurdish speaking organisation in London.
