Guest: Free on the job film training in May
This free film training is specifically for unemployed people aged 16 to 25 years old who want to have their say about their situation and put the case for more jobs and less spin. For example young people are told they are 'guaranteed' a job or training if they are unemployed for over 6 months but one young WORLDbytes volunteer is already producing a report which reveals the jobs and training on offer are a far cry from young people's aspirations. Want to help find out more? Do you have a story to tell? Do you think we should demand more jobs? If so join WORLDbytes’ three-day Train & Shoot on Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and Monday 10th May. Successful applicants will learn to film and shoot for a series of hard hitting reports about youth unemployment and the benefit system. The training involves long days learning camera, lighting, sound, production and hands on shooting. Priority places for this free training will be given to volunteers who are already active, so don't wait around. Get stuck in and we look forward to seeing you at a volunteer introductory evening. Enclosed below is brief information about our Association of International Workers Solidarity (UİD-DER) in Turkey. As the name suggests it is a workers’ organisation. It has been founded by workers from different industries to promote working class interests on the whole. As the working class is a worldwide class united by common interests and we find it necessary to come into contact and develop relations with workers organisations all around the world we decided to send you this brief information about our organisation. We believe in the importance of comradely and fruitful collaboration on advancing the working class struggle against bosses all over the world.
